Admin fix was the wrong thing to do anyways, else your Obama will create 101 rules that affect everyone, the check and balance system is a good thing for US
Admin fix should happen for small regulations not a big law like the CIR.

Approved I140, EB3, PD Dec 2004, I485 filed on Jun 30, 2007, Got EAD and AP
Employer B:
Future employer,
Approved I140, EB2, PD Aug 2004
Note: A# is same on both approved I140 and pending I485.
My question is, do I need to request for interchange of I140 from EB3 to EB2 or it will be automatically done since A# is same on both approved I140. I really appreciate your response. Thanks

i applied for EAD on Dec 21st, got card ordered for production email on Jan 21, and got the card via USPS 2 days ago. My PD is just few months away from May 2006 (EB2), but I still got 2 years validity (on the EAD card).
I cannot possibly imagine the fact that PD wont move even a few months when spillover begins.

At this point, I'm not interested in learning XML or XSLT, my point was that you really don't <i>need</i> all of those things, escpecially when you are first starting out. There are plenty of people who would be happy to hire someone and keep paying them to update. And PHP would work just as well as a content management system (with mySQL of course)

Thank you all for help. It worked they just went ahead and reported 1 hr in SEVIS. SEVIS indicated that she was on AOS..so no problem there.

Therefore, if you're looking for any progress in PD, whether EB2 or EB3, the key parameter you should be watching is EB3-RoW cut-off. Only when this becomes current, others can even _think_ of nirvana. Without overflow of RoW's, both EB2-India and EB3-India cannot progress more than a day in every bulletin (at a average). Can you please help me with this?...I have already submitted the affidavit copy and now they want it from Registrar office. Has any one got it from registrar office in India? if so, how difficult it is and what is the procedure?

I am not sure what your point is. I am contributing monthly and I am not trying to judge anybody here. All I am trying to say is there needs to be alternate ways of reaching people unless all the 8400 registered people frequent the forums here. I, personally, do not know anyone who lives in Canada and is complaning about jobs. Every beginning is difficult but for us who come to Canada from the US, I do not think the beginning would be difficult at all. Even with their famous Canadian exp only requirements....
Also, when you guys weigh in job prospects in Canada in comparison to being on H1 in the US, do you consider that your spouses would have a fair chance to at least re-start their careers or start their new careers, or do you think / know that your spouses will actually continue to stay at home?
In that case there is no difference between staying here or going there, right?

That one gives the description of the plight of GC aspirants not what kind of scenarios in different phases of GC are contributing this plight. What specific action by a congressman has to be taken which section of the law has to be modified in what exact wording should be. Many people say about issues and plight but what exactly has to be done and where and by whom. Sorry if I still missed the info other than the one you gave in the link

Did you fill the actual I-485 forms or just the questionnaire that employers usually send? in case you've filled actual forms that they will send, did you check the box on the right bottom where it asks if you'll be represented by an attorney...
In case of a questionnaire, you might get those forms filled by them for your signatures.

Guys,
The reality is that we are just being played upon by the companies and the US govt regarding green cards. Employers know that we are not going to budge from our jobs to maintain the coveted priority date and the government is in no big hurry to reform the system as they can collect taxes from us without being accountable to us.
I think Democrats are also going to drag the immigration issue as seen by the article below :

I do not mean to doubt IV, but the writing is on the wall that our lobbying efforts are not going to go too far.
For all of you single people out there, the only fastest option is to marry a US girl/guy. For all those who are married, the choices are simple, forget the American dream and adopt a Canadian or Australian dream or endure the uncertainty of a green card application.
I have reached the conclusion that I cannot bear this uncertainty any more and therefore, I am pursuing other options. Ciao...Good luck to all those waiting for a GC!

I had similar issue with my spouse H4, then I applied her H4 again before the I-94 expires on the pass port. In my case (h4) costed only $200, I didn't wanted to take a chance then applied and got the extension. If you want to safeguard your status, you better apply for H1 extension, if it is really expiring they will extend your H1 otherwise they might return saying you cannot apply for extension prior to 6 month of expiring.
So decide yourself, don;t ask peoples opinion too many times, you always get mixed results.
NOTE: according to my employer, I-94 given at the POE super seeds all the other form of I-94.
I visited my local USCIS office and the officer told me that they don't do I-94 updates and asked me to contact the CBP office. When I called them up to get an appointment, I got transferred to a lady who asked me the details. After listening to my case she said its perfectly okay and asked me to attach the new I-94 from the 797 to the passport. Is this true?
I am trying to get hold my lawyer but in vain. Please help!!!

If a person owe money to IRS , does he/she have a problem with his/her immigration process? I'm not talking fraud ....! I'm talking owing taxes to IRS
The reason i'm asking is because some lawyer do ask for W2 forms, some do not. That means there is a relationship between immigration and IRS.I just have no idea how it works.
