Franklin got her gc. She is still such a motivated member. IV is fortunate to have her. I didn't intend to defend her, she is more than capable to do that on her own. Just wanted to add this information because that makes a sea change in raising the level of conversation on this thread.
The contrast is amazing, people who are stuck in the system are not as involved, while members like Franklin and Aman, who have came out of the "limbo" still want to help others.
Now I am more shocked than ever at her level of energy at the rally (which I personally witnessed) I am sure she has been doing a lot more behind the scenes as well.
Those who have done nothing but visit this site, need to look at folks like this and get some motivation and step up to the plate.

I agree with you. PenDot does not give online extension for non-immigrants(if it was mentioned originally that you are foreigner when you first got your license). Also they extend visa for H1 only after you get approved extension letter in hand. They do not accept receipt notice. I think they accept i-485 receipt notice to extend you Driving license though.

yes, retrogression will remain the same for indians and chinese.....its already pretty bad for the indians. retrogression will hit ROW harder as they are current right now....atleast for EB2. let feb or march 2008 roll around then its going to get worse.

No, it wasn't. The 1999 quota was exhausted in April 1999. Granted this is better than the situation today, but not by much as the quota was larger that year and the economy was smaller.

I guess using our degrees to pass on a message is a fool-proof idea. That can immediately catch on with media like flowers did. If not stoppers, we can write our message in bold colors on the degrees.

I feel sorry for the people who live in slums of dharavi but not for people who should not have been in the US in the first place (based on their education) and are now finding ways to get ahead of the legit EB2 candidates by buying masters degrees.
They are NOT buying MS, they are inquiring where the fees are cheaper. If this is buying MS, even you *bought* your Masters (and every other degree) unless you are from the 1% who get full scholarship (you would definitely have been in EB1 had you been in that layer).

I do have both Criminal attorney and Immigration attorney representing me, they say it should be fine. Again they say its upto the VO at POE. can I request the attorney to come to the airport during my POE time, so that i can request the VO to talk to my attorney?

It would make more sense to compare and brainstorm if you can post the skillset you have in mind and the rate you wish for?
I agree that being on EAD or having a GC puts a person in a better situation compared to H1B but the bottom line is the skillset in context, demand for that skillset and expertise that one has in that skillset.
it depends on the skill set and your experience. I accept the fact being on EAD or GC will give advantages. But I dont think GC only make the wonders. you might get 10-20% extra.
