USCIS Knows the numbers now or they would not predict April 2006 if they did not know. I believe that If you read the predictions of QSK then you will know exactly what might happen. It will go up to Sep 2006 and might stay there or move back to April.
I do not want to bring your hope down but Do not hope anything above Sep 2006.

Even I got an FP notice 3 weeks after getting the welcome notice. Then they also updated the status to Card Production Ordered and Post Decision Activity. Finally got the card after more than a month. I still have to go for FP later this month. I don't know what the hell is going on but at least I got the card.
I am still waiting for my card, but I received a FP notice yesterday. I think I'll get my card once I am done with my FP.

Legalese was never my strong point. Which part says that EB-1 unused must go to EB-2 of same category, and then to EB-3?

I somhow feel that Name Check problem has not been taken care of within its entirety. I agree with one thing that NC will be "improved" but has not been and will never be streamlined the way actually it should be.

Do we have a way to know or keep an eye on USCIS about this? At least I
do not know and if somebody has the information please share it.

waiting for NC check... What if USCIS decides to keep 100000 cases on
rack eating dust just by not moving the processing date for particular
service center? This you can see right now.. USCIS is making Texas slow

with comparison to Nebraska around May to August 2007. If this happens your case is no more "processable".. Yes you can say that you are not stuck in NC queue but you will be stuck. USCIS may come up with altogether different startegy... To align processing times with FBI processing and FBI NC initiation. That may screw the things further.

Can you pick an year and month for EB2-India for the October 2008 Visa Bulletin (start of new fiscal year)?
Ron Gotcher believes EB2-India will be somewhere at 2002/2003.
Even the prediction of end of the universe could be made more accurately than what will happen to the visa bulletin. It's true there may be retrogression in Sep 08 for EB2-I, but the movements back and forth are likely to be minimal.

I called Senator Ed Kennedy's office and was told that CIR is likely to be introduced in early March something like first week. They of course told me that there are no guarantees, but more a reasonable probability.

In our case, the primary applicant has received FP but the dependent has not yet received, has this happened to anyone?
I called Customer Service and now they ask that we wait 180 days from the time the case is transferred to NSC before enquiring about it !
My spouse got the FP but I'm waiting. I'm the primary. I opened 2 SRs but only my wife got the FP, whereas I got a notice to basically wait. god knows

My wife is also in a similar situation. She went for stamping on Feb 1st and then she received a 221g yellow form. We submitted the docs and we are just waiting for a response for more than 3 months. I researched quite a bit on this one, but there is no way to expedite this process. I even contacted the local senator. This is happening quite a bit now. If the case is genuine then it will get approved, but it might take some time.

I am on a similar situation. Approved on Aug 3rd. Got a approval notice I-485 in post. Called USCIS and they mentioned to wait till Sep 3rd and if I do not get the card to call back after sep 3rd.

I hate to say, f*** the future bulletins. WHY??? I am EB3 waiting for looooooooooooooong long time. No hope.
- future VBs - I CARE SHIT ABOT IT.
- visa availability in the coming months - NO HOPE FOR EB3
- awareness about visa wastage - YES, I AM AWARE, WHAT DIFFERENCE IT MAKES

dis is wat happens 2 normal beings one-by-one.. can't blame anyone.
Years and years of wait, fear, desperation, being deceived and finally followed by series of shocks called visa bulletins --> end result "it all ends-up this way".
My apologies, I thought I was making a point. The point was trying to see and realize that if USCIS was behaving with us this way it is, what would happen if it was a product selling company ? Could it do the same to its customers ? Could customers tolerate it ? Could USCIS have survived ?
But if I could not show it just ignore my thread or Admin , please delete it.
