visit your senator's website. Look for links for "casework". Look for contact person for immigration. Call your senator's office at that number. Explain your problem. They will ask you to write a letter giving your case information and requesting them to find out the status. Some senator offices may require you to fill some form in a format pertinent to them with the intention of giving the senator's office permission to inquire on your behalf and to give access to your personal information.
Once they have letter from you they will contact USCIS on your behalf. They will tell you by when they will hear back from USCIS. Make sure you do not call them repeatedly, call them when they ask you to call them or call them after a reasonable amount of time i.e. 2 weeks.

This is what you can do - Both in Mumbai and in Delhi, you have USCIS approved doctors who help people going through CP. In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. I think as a next step I will contact my Congressman after the Feb dates are released and we are still current. Do you know if it makes more sense to approach Congressman or Senator for this ? Also should I approach only 1 rep like 1 Congressman or approach both my district congressman and 2 state senators ?
We are even more screwed because since our dates are current we can not even get 2 Yr EAD or 3 yr H1 extension but you have to renew both annually.

I received a letter from uscis/DHS on Jan 28.
It was in response to my request about my wifes I-485 being in namecheck for a long time.
The response stated:

That's was his/her problem. If the person have not notified the USCIS about the job change, everything would've been fine :) I am not going to argue with you. If one of hundreds thousand cases had an issue, it does not mean we have to rush and file AC21 every time we change a job. That will just create more work for the USCIS and increase our chances for RFE/denials. That's my opinion. You are entitled to yours. BTW, I changed jobs and did not file anything. No problems.

I have not used AC21 and am not planning to use it. Although it is easier for me because I am a Registered Nurse and it is easy for me to port from one hospital to another. My strategy is different though. I am not leaving my sponsor and just working for another hospital in my free time.

Applied for H1B. We already have the H1B approval notices. We also have EAD/AP. Still we got dragged into this.
The H1B sponsoring company is a large and famous Biopharma company with billions in market cap. AOS is also through the I-140 from that company.
Everything is way above board for us. Still we got stuck!
