Could you please review my situation? My attorney told me that I can not work untill the decission comes out from USCIS. In 485 denial notice it was mentioned that ....

Since the underlying petition is revoked, a visa is immediately not available. As such you cannot adjust status to that of a lawful permanent resident. Therefore, the form I-485 application is denied.
8 C.F.R274a.14 (b)(1)(i) allows termination of employment authorization when it appears that any condition upon which it was granted has not been met or no longer exists. If you have received an I-765 for classification C9 based upon this pending I485, you are reminded that this EAD is no longer valid and can not be used to allow yourself to work in the United States.
The decision leaves you without lawful immigration status���.

It states that
This notice doesnot grant any immigration status or benefit.It is not even evidence that this case is still pending. It only shows that the application or petition was filed on date shown...
The notice number you are referring is same as I mentioned or different?
I will appreciate your time and help in this regard. I will get back to you if you need further clarifications..

Did anyone got LUD on their I-140? I have an LUD on my I-140 on 04/20/2008. Most of the people got their LUD on 07/13/2008.

I don't care about LS. Almost all cases I know are fraud. Sometimes 2 guys got GCs on same labor(since they were not asking Original LC). Thank god USCIS banned LS.

I was wondering if update is only available through state chapter? If so we are in blackhole,,, as many of us are not members of state chapter..
Or if we have more action items to act on apart from calling reps..chc and lamar smith ?
Neways.. i have asked for NC state chapter enrollment ..so hopefully i'll get the updates from then on...:)
there is only one action item right now and it is on the forum.
the update and action needed prior to this was handled by state chapters, however everyone is now up to date with what needs to be done.
state chapters are voluntary but very effective in initiating grassroots approaches to our problems, they have also proved very effective with focussed actions recently. a state chapter is simply a local community that networks and offers support. so it really has many other advantages than just a question of updates.
anyway there is no fresh update currently.

Guys, wakeup! He isn't telling anything wrong - just a different opinion, very valid for a great percentage of Indians - not everyone can/is going to land in US and wait eternally for GC? and nothing wrong in what he is saying - to go for a better long term India than a spurt of growth. Why ridicule the other guy for giving a genuine advice to youngsters - how many of us haven't almost given up on our careers just for the same of EB GC? Are we just afraid of losing out to our brothers in India in future, rather than them joining our batch in the eternal wait? If we want to make US our home, at least we should start respecting another person's right to his opinion, even if we disagree. Why would it be called a gimmick?! There is no other way - if its not India, it will be China, Philippines etc. Look at the way the general product industry went? The same will happen unless there are restrictive trade policy - which, not only would be against the "US" principals of free trade, but would also automatically be harmful for the US economy.
I personally don't see anything wrong in the article. He puts forth the right things that can be done to improve the life of Indian generations - now and for future. And if that happens, there would be a benefit for us in particular, and US economy and US jobs in general.

All officials and news coverage has talked about processing 60k visas in a month to avoid visas going waste. None clarifed to say the unused visas expire on 09/30 NOT 06/30.

I don't know if he is gonna mess it up if I file on my own. But Senthil has valid point that he should support if there is an RFE.
Do not care about the money now. Give 5k and file thro company. If you need any help from company for RFE or any other issue after filing gc then company will help for you. Because you are working for hourly paying 2 or 3k more than normal should be ok. Some of lawyers are charging more compared to normal

I know lot of us have tough schedule but this bill will get rid of large pool-
I would think 30-35% - Why? Lets see EB1's are definitely out- Plus most EB2's (except Bachelors + 5 yrs exp guys) will be out.
Don't give me any Red dots over this- Just a humble opinion. So, lets says it gets rid of 30% in queue, it's as good as Increasing visas to 182K!

Your discussion is going no where ........I wouldnt even have cared if it was a last month's labor .......
And also USCIS would have initially implementecd this for a good reason and they would not have terminated it if they wouldnt have found that many companies were misusing it ......

However if you can get visitor visa and after entering america, if you apply for a I-485, most probably USCIS will approve your case. Therefore, In my opinion the challenge is getting B1/B2 visa when her husband is waiting for a adjustment of status.

Invoked AC21 on September and sent all necessary docs. No LUDs then.
I think ex-employer have revoked I-140 already but not sure (He threaten me in 2007 that he will do so in I invoke AC21).
