MY wifes EAD is approved today after following the procedure that I have written today. I am hoping that mine will be approved soon.I guess the Officer did take the necessary action to bring the documnt from Storage.

They hushed up and approved my EAD in 20 days. Why ???? 'cos So they don't hit Jun'30 and give 2 years. They wanted to milk another 680 from me so they hushed up and sent me the 1 year EAD in 20 days.

I am so intrigued by this whole affair � I am not going to comment on USINPAC, however, I know Robinder Sachdev personally and can vouch for him and let us get things clear � about Robinder Sachdev. I am dismayed and sad � and wanted to step up to the plate for our good friend. I hope you will appreciate my spirit.
Guys, this guy is an asset for any team. How many of us know his name�versus others you know? I do not mind going out on a limb for Robinder as a person � all you need to do is read what he writes. An analysis like that � in the main editorial page of the number 1 newspaper of Bombay, read by the CEOs, film makers, and politicians � imagine what the impact of his words is?

So maybe let us stop bashing up the talent we have�rather let us talk to him and see how he can help us � both in the US and India. I may be getting overly carried away, but I am in the same boat as you all are, and my family is hurting emotionally because of this mess we all are in�but I know how much this guy is working on issues of our interest. I just felt like getting this out of my system upon reading some of the comments in IV.
There are very few, if any, maybe a total of 4 or 5 people, in the US and India, like Robinder who understand the business, strategic affairs, and politics between the US and India; and the complexities of the relations and the peoples in both countries; and the issue of Indians in America (which means Indian Americans, GC applicants, and also H1 workers).
Robinder will be the last person to seek any publicity out of this. Let�s get all the help that we need from this very influential and highly networked individual for our current and future print and visual media initiatives from Robinder who genuinely believes in the cause and wants to help IV.

Unconfirmed sources indicate that the Senate may table this bill earlier than expected. Since there is the nightmarish Sensenbrenner border protection bill that will come up with the comprehensive immigration reform legislation, it appears that the pro-immigration forces may have to energize their forces and start working on the critical immigration legislation.

I think its only 1 time amnesty to all aliens who were present 5 years from date of enactment of this law, if it becomes a law.

I've had both kinds of accounts for years
NRE - you can only deposit funds from abroad, but cannot deposit funds into it from India. Havent repatriated back - so not so sure abt those rules
NRO - you can deposit funds from abroad & any money you receive in India - eg. if u get rent, or your PPF money etc. Bank will also deduct TDS on the interest you earn in this account. Not so with NRE. Legally, when you leave India, if you do not close your accounts, you shd change the status of ur existing a/c to NRO.
As far as the issue being faced by OP - dont know how much money we're talking abt here, but if your folks send u thru legal channels, they will have to explain why the money is being sent.

Another person I know; he had H-1b and was working for some motels (he specifically told me he did IT work and wasn't working as a clerk and the company was a holding company with many motels). His case was transferred to local office. Local office called him and stated they wanted him to come to office next day. When he went they asked him why he was listed as an account signatory on the motels bank account. They thought he wasn't doing h-1b work and was doing unauthorized work.
My employer has made me an account signatory in one of his other company(a sister company of my H1company), so i can take the money out for travel expenses. Is that going to create any problem? I have my regular pay check coming from my H1 company.

So USCIS will never see the flowers becoz they are boxed.. and they will never get delivered becoz they are being routed from the airport itself. No major news media covered the few deliveries at USCIS.. What was the point of the campaign again?

Need your valuable advice on this serious issue. Involved in shoplifting case, got arrested and plead guilty. Served the community service, and paid fine. Got the �Court Disposition Document� which states that I am all clear. My status is I-485 pending and have EAD, AP documents.
1. Is it safe to travel to India and come back on AP?
2. What are the possible chances that visa officer may not let me into the USA?
3. Do I need to carry any letters from my criminal attorney explaining the situation?
4. Any one in similar situation, please update me on this?
5. Please list of documents I need to carry during my travel
