    Whatever Dude!

I have heard that story before. Ask your bosses at losers guild to teach you better stories to blend in with us.
If you are really sincere, why don't you send your name, phone number and employer name to IV and IV will put you in touch with the right people to complain?
No point trying to hide your identity and faking your own convictions.

I can send all the details .. including the evidences, can u assure me of anonymity and protection under whistle blower category ??? Dude r u kidding me ... we are talking about a complaint against a Billion Dollar firm and its resources.. do u expect me to give the details in this open forum ... BTW do u still think that I am tunnel rat???

Amicus brief filed in the 1st Circuit appeal by AILF.
The brief discusses in details three major questions:

    1) why the USCIS has a duty to adjudicate any application properly filed with them
    2) why 8 USC 1252(a)(2)(B)(ii) does not bar jurisdiction in AOS mandamus cases
    3) why the duty to adjudicate does not depend on a specific statutory or regulatory timeframe.

Amicus brief filed in the 11th Circuit appeal by AILF. Discusses the same questions, a good reading.

I just called USCIS using POJ method. Nice IO . She took time listening BUT same darn response.
I had opened a service request on 9/8 . I recieved a letter stating to wait for 6 months.
IO told me ,all the name check, FP are cleared. No RFE.
Since SR is open, wait for 6 months.
    well, thats my story.

It is not good disparaging the countries needing TV by calling them idiotic and asking for boycott etc. Please know that you are living in a country (USA) which is far worse than those "idiotic" countries in this respect since 2003. US needs C1 visa for transiting through its airports even when you have a valid VISA stamp in your passport to a destination country and you need to fill eqaully gruelling application (DS 156). Also you need to carry documents for travel purposes and financial support.

Which form is more gruelling, you folks decide. Here are the 111 questions you need to answers to get a Transit Visa. I centainly find some of the question totally nosy and irrelevant esp. for a DTV. The last question is interesting. I was so so tempted to write FU for an answer.

    no jumping the line

Sorry to disappoint you, but this does not apply to me. I am already green card holder since 2002 and here in IV forum to help others. (Please refer to my old posts).

Please allow me to share a good news with you. I just got letter for my citizenship oath on Aug 19th. And yes, probably you have guessed it, I work from home. Just 2 days a week.

I thought I will give you a green but this handful of people couldnt stomach what I said and spoilt my reputation so much that I cannot give you a green until my reputation goes up

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi,

We have raised $ 8,300 as of last night(Jan 8th) and we need much more than that. You can check status of funds raised at "Why Contribute" link on www.immigrationvoice.org

Here is the thing: You can contribute now if you have not and stop waiting until "others take care of the problem". That "others" is made up of people like you. If you cannot contribute a few dollars to help eliminate retrogression by funding a non-profit org that is going to lobbying in the next few weeks, then probably you are not bothered enough and retrogression is fine by you. If that is the case, then maybe I am talking to the wrong audience. If you are prepared to wait for 6-7 years for your green-card and keep extending your H1 until then and waiting for 6-7 years is fine by you, then good for you. You dont have to worry about anything and I can understand if you wish not to do anything about it.

But if you care, then volunteer or atleast contribute money towards efforts to eliminate retrogression and eliminate backlogs. What is the worst that could happen? Think about it. What if everyone thinks that "there are other people who are working on this and they will take care of the problem so I will just wait and watch, maybe contribute later on when they actually start doing something. Even if I dont contribute, they will take care of the problem and the changes in laws will benefit everyone anyways whether I participate or not". Well, that is the kind of thinking that leads to catastrophes. Do not rely on "Others". Because "others" might think that you are doing it and you might think others are doing it. That never ends and once we cross into second half of 2006, you can forget about congress acting on immigration just before elections in 2006. YOU have to do something about this. If you dont stand up for what you believe in, then you dont believe strongly enough. There is justice in the world, but its not automatic.

If you have doubts and would like to talk to one of the volunteers then please call us at 281-576-7185.

Talk to one of the volunteers. See if you can relate to the efforts of Immigration voice. A phone call and a few minutes of time is the least that you can do to act on a problem that can be a constant nightmare for the next 6-7 years if you want your GC within a more reasonable timeframe.

You can also check out www.immigrationvoice.org before you call so that you can find out more about us and ask us all the questions that you might have.

    Thanks,
    Logiclife.
