I don't think the state is involved, but its the institution that makes its own set of rules. All the community colleges in the state of Arizona accepts both H and L status as proof of residency.

Please someone who is net savvy or from the core team could you please create something like this: where we can track people's contribution.
This is not so that people can finger point but so that people who have not paid are "tempted" and people who have made major contributions are recognized.

This is exactly what I said in my previous posts. EB2 India may become unavailable towards the end of September as most of the visas will be used in August itself and we will see a flood of approvals starting August 1st itself. I think most of the approvable cases are already processed by USCIS after it gave the data to DOS on July 8th. I think most of the straight forward and less complicated cases during 2004 - 2006 period will be approved soon.
I do not want to spoil the party fun but somewhere in my mind there is a lingering doubt. I read Ron Gotcher's post about August 2008 bulletin.

This is my opinion. TSC 485 processing time is July 17,2008. NSC 485 processing cut off date is July 28th, 2008. I don't know if CSC is still processing 485 EB applications but CSC EB processing cut off date on its website is April 04, 2006. The priority date for June 2007 bulletin was April 1st2004.
Lot of big law firms filed 485's around August 1st because the date for filing 485's was extended to August 17th. So I think these 485's are still unadjudicated. Once they get adjudicated there would be retrogression. Analysts analyze. However the silver lining would be removal of concurrent processing of I-140 and I-485 which may give some additional EB 2 numbers next year.

My wife worked as a full time employee and resigned after the delivery from Oct'08. She was paid the sick pay through a third party insurance and these wages are missing in the W-2. I tried contacting her employer and also wrote emails saying I would complain to IRS if they fail to provide a corrected W2. Today is 02/14 and we still didn't receive a new W2 for the sick pay or a corrected W2.
1) What consequences the employer would have to face if they fail to report correct wages on W2?
2) Does IRS is concerned about missing wages that are 1-2K?
3) Do you think I should complain to IRS?
I am planning to lodge an official complaint on Monday 02/16. I suppose it was a deadline date for all employers to provide W2 or a corrected one.

I applied for H1B extension in october 2006 as my H1B was about to expire in December. After five months of applying, got an RFE in Febraury 2007 . My employer replied to the query in Mid March 2007. My employer was reluctant to do a premium processing when he replied the query, saying that he doesnt want to take any risk. CSC transfered my case to Seattle, WA field office ( the field office is no where near my employers physical location, not even close to where I live) on April 4th. I guessed that its because of new H1 petitions filed in April. Its been more than 3 months and no action taken on my petition. We tried to convert into premium processing, but the field office rejected it saying they dont accept premium processing in their jurisdiction. So nothing else to do but to wait wait wait. Total time passed since my initial petition in OCtober ( 9 months).
My license has expired in March and the DMV do not renew my license with out a new I-94. Really its been a hell with out DL and still depending on others for necessary needs.
I am tired of telling the story to every one. Why not one more time here. I want to find out what other steps I can take to expedite the H1 Petition. Is there any way around to get the license renewed. Please share your experiences and suggestions.

I took an info pass appointment and went to the Newark Office today to see if they can help with my case. The IO said, they dont deal with H1B cases and cant help me in anyway. Though she took time to see where it is. She told me that I have to wait wait wait. This is really pissing me off, without a driving license for the last 4 months, passport expiring soon, Wife's H1 petetion Query ( as her H4 renewal is in hold due to my H1B RFE). Guys please post some ideas on how to deal with this situation. I even opened a service request about my case. But no progress. what should be my next course of action to move the case.
Any valuable suggestions would be appreciated.

If Paul's hunch that we'll see the 1Ds' successor by September is correct, then we might see cheaper 1D-II bodies prior to that.
As for the Kodak, it certainly has the resolution, but it doesn't seem as if it's generating much enthusiasm. The 1Ds (with less pixels) OTOH has. Removing the very expensive anti-aliasing filter was probably not Kodak's greatest moment.
I think the Kodak has alot more problems than just AA problems!!!
And any time a product drops by 50% in 1 year its normally not a good sign

My I485 is pending, recently I have changed my address online. I also recieved confirmation letters for this address change.
After 2 weeks of address change, USCIS issued an RFE. I have not yet received it, but I just want to prepare for this.
What could be the reason for this RFE? Is it common?

This is a public forum, if its really urgent case, i have seen lots of people including myself, pitching in and giving their advices. And also, if it is really an urgent issue that you can't wait for responses, you need to be talking to the lawyer.

Tell me whats the urgency about this. Infact if you just follow my posts, i have also posted to a thread that deals with responses to RFE's. I am wondering whats the need to open a new thread with URGENT as the thread name.
I hate to tell this, due to posts and threads like this, people who really require help with some urgent issues, their posts gets ignored. Please understand that this is a public forum and understand that I am just using your thread to send this message to everyone who does this. Nothing personal against you.
