What about the 130k cases waiting for FBI name check - I'm surprised nobody is looking at it. If this is all EB related (worst case scenario), we are looking at around 240k cases of EB category. Well, I already had an email which screwed up my mood today and now this...... time to dump it all and first enjoy the weekend :-)
Afterall, GC is just one of the many factors in life and the more you keep it at the lower priority end, the more you can enjoy TODAY :-)

I Got The Same Error Mail Of Fp Notice Rejected For Me And Not My Wife
Amount Is Correct 395 ( 325 + 70)
Lawyer Called Me Today And Asked If I Had Got Fp Notice And Said No But The Lawyer Got The Notice And Said She Has Mailed Me The Fp Notice Which Is Scheduled On Set 26th
Probably Will Call Lawyer And Ask Her What's Going On

The bill will be passing the Senate soon, and most likely be finalized and voted on Thursday.
Please bear in mind, that immigration voice DOES HAVE alternate ways to get the amendments into the final text of the bill if both Cornyn and Brownback's amendment are not floored and voted in this final lap of the debate. So please be patient and please have faith.

In order to give one more push to this amendment, we urge you to send a webfax support Brownback Amendment. Its is under the webfax menu as webfax Number 15.

I got my Wife's and son's passports renewed at NY. I printed the phtos on the computer. My wife's i mailed it(got it back in 1 week). My sons i went to NY. If you go before 11AM, you can collect it back same evening. I did this almost 18 months ago.

Ok I think we are reaching new heights of RIDICULOUS here. An IV member has asked a SIMPLE question about whether or not an Indian citizen needs a visa for the Bahamas.
Who the heck do we think we are to ask him/her to NOT go on that cruise and instead donate to IV?? People i know that we need to raise money and quickly, but this is really not the way to go about it. Everyone needs a vacation to recharge their batteries and spend quality time with their families. The GC is a "MEANS to the END", NOT "The END". Going by this logic, lets not do anything for the next 2-3 years. Lets not buy houses, cars, furniture etc. Lets instead contribute to IV. Besides what is to say that this person has not contributed to IV already?

You have to create an online account to get updates on you application. You will see LUD and there is the date everybody is looking for. You can also receive email if take the option.
You will not see LUD if you just put in your recipt number to check status of the case.
Thank you thank you thank you sooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!! I didnt even know you had to do this!! I would put my receipt number in check status and worry like a fool. I am just plain stupid!!!!!!!
After creating my account, I realized there has been updates!!! And now am thinking about all those days I worried.... what an idiot I am!!

Another thought i had was...Before all of us june,july,august folks land up in the blackhole of FBI namechecks...Can we lobby for some kind of transparency?What in the world can make them take 4 yrs to check a persons name?Can they at least maintain a website that they update as and when a name check is completed...Please core and members,do something about this...something as effective as the campaign to accept july applicants!!while they are overhauling the system let them get it right all the way!!

Getting visa to go on cruise to Bahamas is not a big issue. People go in bunches to watch cricket matches when they play it in West Indies.
A travel agent will be able to answer your question.
Transit visas in Eurpoean countries is a pain and wierd rules and complex rules that very is something that gets discussed in these forums.
But, nevertheless, you may get an answer here.
