In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. When you go for Fedex/USPS Express they takes your Name, Current Address in a page which has Pointer to the TRACKING NO. 1 copy comes to you , 1 copy goes out with Package and 1 Copy gets saved with FEDEX/USPS.
The 3rd copy above is sufficient to straightout any "Potential Liars" :mad:

Your company was one of the top companies on the list. Therefore, we are requesting your cooperation in providing additional statistics and information on your use of H-1B visa workers.
First, some groups, such as the Programmers Guild, have analyzed the wages paid to H-1B visa holders. They have found that the average annual salary of foreign workers is significantly lower than that of new U.S. graduates.

While it is true that EB 3 india will take "forever" for those with priority date after 2005, USCIS has been coming down heavily on recent spate of EB3 to EB2 filings. One thing to ask an employer who claims to file EB2 on your behalf is whether they have applied similar EB2s successfully for candidates at similar position that they are offering you. If they fail to provide a satisfactory answer, they are more than likely luring you with a false promise.

Man this sucks. I have been here for 6 years, got my Bachelors here, and now finishing my Masters. And now what awaits me is a damn lucky draw.
I seriously hope that the new bill gets approved, even if they don't approve the suggested 130K H1B quota, at least they should pass the clause of banning consultants from filing for H1B. The new bill suggests that only employers should be allowed to file for H1B and not third party consultants.

Filed at NSC on July 2nd 2007. Got EAD/AP approval notices and receipts/transfer notices from CSC last week. No FP notice yet.
There are several in my company in the same situation..NSC->CSC and now CSC Xfr'd back to NSC. No one has rcvd FP notice. I think August 17th filers at NSC are ahead of us now and we are at the tail of the queue one more time.
The only advantage of CSC transfer is if you need EAD/AP desperately. if you don't then it's just bad luck.

HI ..most the CP filers are in US and contribute to Immigration Voice regularly. You can say by mistake or something else some people chose to go for Consular Processing when dates became current and they all are in bad shape at this time. If you think about those who applied for Cp being in US then you would realise 485 filers are too much priviledged in comparison of them.

Looking at the movement of dates for EB3, esp India and China, it's hard to be optimistic of any changes. It's a very wretched position to be in for Indian and Chinese nationality, if they're in EB3. All those who are eligible to port will definitely try to port to EB2 as long as it's available and cut their waiting time. It might be risky and unpredictable, but it's a risk worth taking considering the endless torture in the form of a long wait and zero or little forward movement of dates.
There've been times when I've felt like attempting porting, but am not sure of the reaction of my employer - a big "reputed" company. If they revoke the I-140 in retaliation for using AC-21, then no chance of porting and back to square one. So it's the seemingly endless wait for me just like all others suffering from 2001 onwards. If only I'd not hesitated to take a bold step back in 2003. Too late to lament about that though.

I know before you start blaming me for this thread, as it is of no use, I would like to point out that most of you must be experiencing the same thing. I didn't care much for Visa bulletin until it became current for EB2 two weeks back. As the time progress, I am doing all sorts of things, like checking USCIS case status, and checking everything that can possibly give me some information. I know that it is waste of time, I know it is not good for health, I know that I will get GC when time comes, but still, my mind is tricking me to think about it. I checked all these forums until 2A.M last night. I am not having enough sleep. I am waiting for a opportunity to get rid of my desi employer. I am really getting frustrated (I am not saying that I have been waiting for GC approval desperately). I just want to share my frustration and what I have been going through. I know I am in a better position than most of other people whose priority date is not even current. I wish they never dangled a carrot in front of me. I am not sure if they disappoint me next month, but I am still keeping my hopes. Hopefully, I would get over this and have enough sleep from today.

If he fires you since you are Z-class, then you are eligible to sue the employer for 1 mil $$. These are the amendments that will be passed along with this stuppp...d CIR.
GO ILLEGALLLL is the message for everyone. By the way, dont forget to get your parents / sisters / grand father / etc just few days before this law passes. Throw the passport away and let them claim that they are here for the past few years.
