EB2 likes visa bulletin predictions.
EB3 does not.

Accessing IV forums after a long time... posting to this thread, though not predecting on VB's... May be the data that were made available through USCIS Home Page (http://www.uscis.gov) (http://www.uscis.gov/USCIS/New%20Structure/3rd%20Level%20(Left%20Nav%20Children)/Green%20Card%20-%203rd%20Level/Pending%20Form%20I485%20Reports.pdf) already gave some hint on how the PD's are going to be in the monthly VB's and most people understand the number and are not predicting any good movement and not posting any on threads like this. Only the luckly EB2-I folks, who are getting a good chunk of the numbers for now thorugh spill over etc want to predict.. but again, too many questions there too... if quartely spillover or will happen in FY last quarter or something else... or .... The VB's / PD's etc.. nothing is going to make any difference and ease the pain of pending EB AOS applicants, unless there is change in law that would provide something to alleviate the EB backlog... When it is going to happen.. any time from now and at the least we can hope will happen before the end of Obama's Presedency like we hoped CIR would have happened before Bush left office :mad:

I tried putting our flyers at Pacific East Mall, but they only accept "rental" ads. bummer. But that doesn't mean some one else shouldn't try!

State chapters are a great mechanism to communicate with other members in your state and district. Please use that if it works for you.
However, if you cannot find someone to go with you, then go alone. Many of the meetings we do in Washington, sometimes we get appointments from 2 or 3 offices at the same time. In that case we split up and only one person goes to meet the lawmakers or staffers. But we cannot lose opportunities or miss opportunities.
So go alone if there is no one else in your district to go with you.

There is no definite answer to this question. USCIS is erratic on that. In my opinion, one's case is opened and process starts as soon as the case is Receipt Noticed. In my case, my PD was current since April, but RD was not. As soon as they reached my RD my app was approved. I think that is the general trend. But, they are not consistent on it. Therefore, no definite answer.

Yes, but you are missing the one important fact, that "band aid solution" would put band aid to thousands of hurt people which will sooth them for a while. I understand, your 485 is already in pipeline so you already have those band aids but claiming to be sorry portrayed you very selfish. Think about teh group then you will slowly start forgeting your sorriness.

I don't have a muslim name. I am a Hindu so as my name.
Dubai, Bahrain i went there for project implementations. kuwait was my office place and i traveled those places for work.
But all those 3 countries are allies with US, people often consider Kuwait as US 53rd state. By any chance can we see that exempted countries list.
Maybe this is triggering delays but it should be ok.. do you have a muslim name? It may be that processing is slightly slower for muslims who have spent time in the middle-east.. it is a good idea to avoid travelling to places like Dubai etc - I know people get questioned more when they arrive from these places to the US.

i read somewhere on this forum that for EB2-i it VB will move 6 months every year.

I think you should send webfax also. 1. It would not hurt. 2. It would show our numbers.
I didn't webfax but sent my state's US Senators a message through their official portal (I had recieved a response last time I did that). I also followed up with a phone call to their offices.

I have been following "Doggys" stuff and anti-anti blog for a while and know that he's not an anti for sure, and before anyone gets paranoid and accuses me of being "doggy" no sire i am not:p

I have access to a lot of "extra" stuff, as you can tell from the blog. It has been a long and tiring fight, but someone has to do it.
RonHira did a pretty accurate transcript. The funniest part was the way Donna was talking to the folks there. It seemed very much like the way a PreSchool teacher talks to her class. She was speaking slowly, repeating stuff multiple times, adding extra emphasis on phrases (like "talking point") and repeating them. Then someone would suggest something and she will go "That is a perfect post", and then he/she will try to say something, and Donna would go "No No, what you said first was perfect, don't deviate".
I was feeling bad for the Antis.
